Booking

It is necessary to book and pay for accommodation in all FÍ huts in advance. Otherwise, we can not guarantee a place. Payment is made by credit card only, after requested dates have been confirmed by us. Booking is not confirmed on our behalf until fully paid for.  

Payment is made online to limit the risk of fraud. We will provide you with a secure payment link where you fill in your card details.  

The vouchers will be sent to your e-mail address when we have received your payment. 

Refund Policy for Accommodation

• Cancelled 30 days or more before arrival 85% of the amount
• Cancelled 29 - 14 days before arrival 50% of the amount  
• Cancelled 13 - 7 days before arrival 25% of the amount  
• Cancelled less than 7 days before arrival - no refund  
  
  FÍ reserves the right to refuse refund due to late or no arrival, bad weather or other external circumstances.  

Insurances

FÍ does not insure their guests or their luggage. Guests travel at their own risk. FÍ urges their guests to buy travel insurance.

The weather in Iceland is unpredictable so expect all kinds of weather. Never wear jeans or cotton next to your skin and bring wind and waterproof jacket and trousers.

Prices 2025

Valid for accommodation from May 1st 2025 to April 30th 2026.

Price list issued with an advance of changes.

* Those using FÍ's facilities, such as toilet or outdoor grill, but don't staying overnight are charged a facility fee. The facility fee does not give access to the huts or permission to use the kitchen or other indoor facilities.

** The shower fee is not included in the facility fee or the price for overnight staying.
