More than one hundred quality photos from Laugavegur hiking trail, from Landmannalaugar to Þórsmörk. Along with the photos there are short texts in Icelandic and English where various hikers describe their experience on the trail.

National Geographic listed Laugavegurinn as one of the 20 best hiking trails in the world. Those photographs bear witness to why that is.

The book is a graduating project of the author from the Photographic School of Reykjavík. Björk has hiked Laugavegurinn 12 times, sometimes as a guide.

The book is 130 pages and all the texts are both in Icelandic and English.
